Yet another game development blog
This is my first post about the development of a game that is not Moon Fever. I have put Moon fever on hold to try to complete a smaller game I wanted to do for quite a while. It allowed me to test the netcode used in Moon fever.
This game is Desktop Commando, this is an coop arena game with some tower defense elements I plan to release for desktops (obviously) (Linux, Mac, Windows). The first alpha version will be released somewhere during spring 2015.
The alpha version will contains all the arena elements (players, weapons, projectiles, destroyable obstacles/walls, respawning power-ups, etc.) but the game will be really completed once I add the tower defense/building stuff with endless wave of enemies :)
Here a network test with 4 players and faked lag (400 ms), my game so far handle all the prediction/interpolation stuff.
